Sorry, but I hated this movie when I was little

Is it just me?

reply

No, it's not - I didn't particularly care for it, either. I love the book, but this movie... meh. It didn't do anything for me. Except for the scene when Charlotte dies - that still makes me cry. :)

OMG!!! This was my absolutely favorite bestest movie EVER!!! I really want to know how u could hate this movie as a little kid....I am now 37 and I STILL know all the words to the whole movie as well as the songs....I can't watch the remake cos its so different..but Wilbur, Fern,Charlotte, Templeton, the sheep and all the animals will forever be in my heart!! BEST MOVIE FOR A LIFETIME!!!

I don't know. There were sections that were not accurate to the novel, and I remember this bugged me when I was little. Also I found the songs annoying, they weren't as good as Disney songs.

I loved this film as a kid, but now I think it is watchable at best.

I love everything about this film. It brings back great, positive memories.

Strange, every once in awhile I get an email about this specific friend. Sorry if I pissed you off friends!

You're not alone, My dad tried to raise us on this movie. My sister loved it, but I never got into it. I guess I just don't get the appeal, but it's a classic, so can't argue too much.

reply

If it makes you feel better the author didn't like it much.
