The ram was a jerk

He was a stuck up jerk who thought he was too good for anybody, he wouldn't even let his son play with Wilbur. He was a self righteous arrogant jerk! I was hoping Zuckerman would make sheep stew out of him!

reply

I hated that ram.

reply

Hahaha. Part of the reason I came on this board was to see whether anyone else was as outraged at the ram's jerkiness as I was - glad to see I'm not alone! Not only was he snooty, he seemed to have no problem describing to Wilbur how he was destined to be butchered! WTF?!

reply

He saved Wilburs life! If he didn't tell him than he wouldn't have known to get Charlotte to help him!

reply

I guess you are right about him saving Wilbur's life, but he had a snooty attitude which I didn't like.

reply

I didn't like him either.

reply

Yeah, apparently, no one told him about mutton.

reply

He was rude about it for sure, but you have to understand that he has probably witnessed who knows how many pigs get slaughtered. He has no reason to bond with them. lol

reply

The ram saved Wilbur's life twice. Once by warning Wilbur that he was in danger, and once by telling him to act normal by struggling when put into the crate. The goose also saved Wilbur by warning Templeton that his life was in danger if Wilbur died.
