If this doesn't creep you out, what does?

I find this film deeply creepy. One of the few "horror/thriller" films that actually disturb on some level. My short list of movies that have truly scared and/or continue to scare me are:

The Exorcist
The Shining
Communion/Fire In the Sky
Don't Look Now
Repulsion
Salem's Lot
Evil Dead (the original)
Black Christmas
Spielberg's version of "War of the Worlds"

For those of you who scoff at "Don't Look Now"...what would your list of truly scary movies be? And I mean like, after you watched it you were afraid to turn off the lights, or walk home alone etc.

This film didn't scare me at all.

Some much scarier:

John Carpenter's The Thing
The Omen
The Exorcist
Halloween
Alien

and when I saw them as a kid:
The Sentinel
Carrie
The Fog
Vampire Circus
Phantasm

reply

Blair Witch Project
Lake Mungo
The Orphanate
Rec
La Casa Muda
Julia's Eyes
The Innocent

No - I didn't find this scary one bit but very little, if nothing, scares me these days. Films I have found scary and/or disturbing in the past:

Carnival of Souls (music, cinematography)
Suspiria (sound)
Eraserhead (say no more...)
Texas Chainsaw (original version - again, excellent sound)
The Omen
The Shining
Ichi the Killer (one scene in particular)

This movie did nothing for me or to me. The short story did creep me out though.

The movies that have truly bothered me are:

Black Christmas
Tourist Trap
The Grudge/Ju-on
The Tenant
Candyman
The Others

Horror doesn't really scare me, but The Changeling (1980) did.
