Did you know that.....

There was an accompanying paperback novel that also came out that went into a little more detail about the characters in the movie. The cover of the paperback was the same as the movie poster.

It mentioned things like John Milner got upset with Curt at Mel's in the beginning of the movie not so much because they were all going to the "Freshmen Hop" but because yet another generation of graduates were moving on and out with their lives and he (a drop-out) was being left behind yet again.

The end of the book also had characterizations of each main character just like the end of the movie but also had one of the Wolfman listing his speciality as "finger popping".

I really wish I knew what happened to my book.....it was such an insight into the characters.
