I agree with the OP: John Milner and Carol were my 2 favorite characters in this. LeMat always knew how to play this type of character, and I feel his storyline just outshines the rest!

I like Bob Falfa. I sort of like seeing Harrison playing this malicious force of nature that Falfa becomes. He's everything Milner fears come to life.

The Pharaohs were hilarious. The leader (Bob Hopkins?) was really cool to watch on screen. Loved him in the sequel.
shareToad, no doubt, for the trials and tribulations, trying to swagger and make it work. The undefeatable optimism. "Ah, Toad, your glasses, man..." He had me at crashing his Vespa into the garbage can...and then you notice it in the background at the end of the night as he's talking to Debbie.
Runner up would be Carol. The comic relief, deflating Milner from time to time, glomming onto him and threatening to tell Holstein he raped her etc....great stuff.
Next would be Falfa. Maybe it's unfair, but I believe his badass character much more than Milner's. He's just got that crazy look in his eye, a different girl every time you see him, and that wicked '55 with a roll cage in it.
Haha, I was gonna say Ants. For some reason he reminds me of a 60s Vin Diesel.

shareJohn Milner no doubt. He was as cool as cool can be. All the scenes that involved him and Carol, were very entertaining and hilarious. One of my favorite scenes, was the part where he finally got to meet Harrison Ford's character, and both of them begin to trash talk... REAL trash talking, no stupid f-bombs or something like that. Paul Le Mat's acting was really good; underrated actor for sure. As for the hottest babe in the film... Debbie Dunham, baby!

shareMy favorite character was Joe, the lead Pharaoh. He has that simple hillbilly logic as evidenced in the following exchange with Curt as he (Curt) attempts to leave the Pharaohs when he slides off the car hood.
Joe: Hey, a, where ya' going?
Curt: Ahh, nowhere.
Joe: Well ya' must be going some place,I mean ya' left here didn't ya?
Toad, but I definitely see myself as a Curt

I read somewhere that George Lucas said that Curt was the character he most identified with, but I think he was being a little disingenuous there. I reckon he saw himself as Milner. And probably rightly so, at least back when he was Milner's age.
