CHASE SEQUENCE

In the chase as the guy hits the plate glass window you can see the puff of smoke as the little explosive charge the FX crew used detonates and smashes the glass shortly before he hits it.

The funniest chase scene in movie history...bar none!

I would rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special...

I agree. I love the bit where every single car smacks into the parked VW bus, the owner comes out, opens the door and it topples over having been crushed waifer thin. brilliant

Without a doubt the funniest part of the scene. I was just thinking about Kenneth Mars in this movie this morning when he says "I find that as difficult to swallow as this potage au gelee". Another funny quote from the movie (there are so many) when the cabdriver says; "I know what you mean. I hate it when anyone even looks at my igneous rocks".

I would rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special...
