When I looked at the genre's I saw "MUSICAL"! Does anybody know if this is really a musical? What songs are in it? THanks!

not technically a muscial...BUT...all the background songs are cole porter songs..just a bit of trivia for ya..lol

This movie is not a musical...in one scene, Barbra sings about 16 bars of "As Time Goes By" and is heard singing "You're the Top" during the opening and closing credits.

Emphatically NO. Musicals are driven by and feature the music as do my very favorites, "The Music Man" and "My Fair Lady". Having a song or maybe even two does not a musical make.

And other than Striesand singing the couple of songs and a few songs on the radio in the car, there isn't even any score for the movie.
