Weightless scene?

Hi, does anybody knows how they did this scene? i haven't found any info, but for 1972 i can only guess it is with wires, although it seems a bit complicated.

reply

Wires... there are a few mistakes though. Certain objects move the wrong way or not at all.

True. The shelves were full of books and other knicknacks firmly rooted somehow.

She probably sensed that I didn't really love her.

Many things did not behave “normally” on the space station, but was the scene more symbolic than scientific? For a few seconds, could Kris and the android Hari escape not just physical weight but their crippling emotional weight?

reply

No wires, just 2 camera cranes, one for the camera and one for the actors.

The book that flew over looked like it was hanging from a wire.
