(Spoilers) Treatment of guests
I haven't read the book not seen the Clooney remake yet. It's mentioned the guests "regenerate" slower than before, and also that the more scientifically minded men are conducting experiments on them.
It seems a huge moral issue was sort of glossed over here. Are they killing their guests regularly? Torturing them? Or do the guests keep eventually killing themselves?
It seems they can't be killing them or Hari and Kris would have spoken up about them having feelings as we do.
Usually when the other men are shown there's no guest following them around or hassling them, except briefly when we're shown the midget and the child.
If they were as obsessed about being with their owners as Hari was they would have to be incapacitated or killed quickly to allow the men such freedom of
movement.
So were they butchers or did their guests regularly take care of themselves quickly after regenerating?
