such an emotional movie ugh.

Yup, cried the first time, watched it again tonight for the second time (for some reason I had the urge to re-watch Solyaris after seeing Interstellar) and cried again. This movie is such a masterpiece. Probably my favorite Sci-Fi film of all time.

shareMy eyes get a little wet when Hari (Natalya Bondarchuk) first appears when Kris is trying to catch a sleep. The scene is so emotional especially for me because I had a Armenian-Canadian GF who looked just like her, and circumstances in my life forced me to involuntarily leave her behind.
Anyway, that's not only the reason, the movie is quite emotional on its own without the above reason too.
