Sci-Fi Movies like these from the 70s and before are great because the special effects aren't that great and so the focus is more on a dramatic or interesting story. Andromeda Strain is another one. Once the tech got so good movies just could rely completely on cool space effects like Alien. Not that I don't freaking love Alien I am just saying you get something different from these oldies.

Andromeda Strain is one of my very favorite sci fi movies. I must have been 15 years old when I watched if for the first time, I was blown away.

Last evening I watched Solaris with George Clooney, very good!

Now, after so many years Im gonna watch Solyaris, blue ray. Im prepared 👾
