Good grief!

My mom bought this for my daughter's birthday.. and I saw the cover and thought.. Oh no. this is the SAD one.. I remember crying to this when I was a boy. My girls aren't going to make it through this one.. Hell, I had to friggin LEAVE THE ROOM yesterday while they were watching it!

Today, my wife emails me at work and says she has two crying girls on the couch watching that Snoopy movie.. but they won't let her turn it off!

Good grief!

Sparky,
The whole element of Snoopy leaving Charlie Brown and holding a goodbye party (which I may add a lot of the children were crying him off) would bring a young child to tears, as, simply put: They could relate to this if they had a special pet.

One day, I'll have kids of my own who will cry over this film, just like I did over twenty years ago. I wonder if I'd still do it today...

Moe - "Are you nervous kid?"
Shemp - "Only in that leg."

I don't remember having cried when I went to see it as a kid, but when I bougth it for my daughter, she did. It IS a sad movie, or at least has its sad parts.
