should I....?

watch the movie, with having read the book?

Slaughterhouse-five has been on my books to read list for a while, but I haven't gotten to it, and probably won't for a while.

However, I want to know if it's one of those movies were you should definately read the book first, or will it be okay if I do that second.

People seem to think it's a decent adaption, but can it only be appreciated having read the book?

Í've never seen the movie, and most people say it's a good adaptation, but I beg you to read the book first anyway, just ofr the sake of the book

I saw the movie before I read the book. I thought the movie was wonderful, and I understood it fine. When I read the book later, it became one of my favorite books. The movie and book are different from eachother, but I like them both. I don't think it matters too much which comes first.
