Movie DVD with English subtitles?

Has anyone watched the DVD made of the 1972 movie? I'd like to know if it contains English subtitles and English subtitles for the hearing impaired. Nothing whatsoever is mentioned in Amazon and the like.
I plan to use the (excellent) movie as teaching material for students of English and so the subtitles are indeed extremely useful. Thanx
