How do they show the Tralfamadores?

I just finished reading this book for my college English class and I just discovered that they made a movie out of it. I was just wondering, seeing as this movie was made in 1972, what do the Tralfamdores look like in this movie?

They don't show them at all. You only hear them as crowd noise. One of them speaks as sort of a voice from heaven, but they're never shown or even described.

Just to add, it was not a high budget film and what the Tralfamdorians look like was not important to the story.
