Why did the lead actor constantly remind me of John Malkovich?

I know he doesn't really look like him, and the voice isn't similar, so why? Anyone else experience that?

maybe it's the bad wigs malkovich always wears in his movies, and that michael sacks had to wear to portray billy pilgrim at various stages in his life.

Maybe because John Malkovich and Michael Sacks are big blond guys who don't have conventional Hollywood "good looks"? That would be my guess.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

they're both creepy! Nothing really "bad" about Billy pilgrim, but the man had no personality or backbone (until he stood up for Montana on planet Trilaflamaduke)

Yeah, I had to pause the movie and check who the actor was on IMDB.

He doesnt look like Malkovich. But early on in the movie, his voice was very, very similar.
