was the pilot of the plane that crashed played by the same actor as paul lazzaro and if so why?

I had the same thought but Billy was the only survivor (at least he was in the book) and if Lazzaro is the one who kills Billy then it couldn't have been him on the plane. Unless, perhaps, Billy just imagined it was Lazzaro.

Not the same actor, and no other reason for it to be Lazzaro.
