song name

Does anyone happen to know the name of the song that's playing during the most disturbing scene of the movie (woman beaten to death in a cemetery)? ;)

what about the first song before the radio changed?

title?
singer?

reply

I don't know, but it sounds like a Wilson Pickett song!

reply

Love that song. I would still love to know the titles to the first two songs that were playing.

reply

yes i LOVE that song... it completely makes the scene. if I had to guess... i'd say the title of the song is probably "crazy about you, baby" or something like that... since that phrase seems to be repeated in a song chorus type fashion. it does sound kind of wilson pickettish.

the song also isn't credited in the credits of the version of the movie i saw, which was dubbed in english. maybe there are more credits in an original italian nondubbed version?

does anybody have a version like that? mind popping it in and posting the names of songs listed in the credits for us?

reply

It's called 'Crazy' (surprise, surprise) and can be found on the Beat At Cinecitta Vol 3 CD.

reply

http://www.moviegrooves.com has the Riz soundtrack to buy

reply

Maybe a muzak version of it. The CD track sounds nothing like the song played during that scene.

reply

ALRIGHT.

after some research here's what I found.

The song is called "Crazy" by a group called "Wess and the Airedales"... sometimes mispelled as Airdales

It appears on a couple of compilation albums, such as beat at cinecitta vol 3 as previously mentioned, and also The Beat, The Shake & The Lounge vol. 1 available on iTunes.

now the only question is how to get it outside of iTunes.

can anyone help with a good link or something?
