Yes. it has it's flaws, but I mean Charles Bronson is hard to phuq up. And Jan-Michael Vincent (would be 75 today). Because of the era it was made in and the subject matter and the actors it's automatically great. Yes, the script had issues, and the original writer hated the film, but how may early '70s Bronson hitman films are there?!
shareI rewatched it again on Prime and still think it holds up. It has that hold patina of action thrillers without explaining everything for you outright. That's the problem the remake with Jason Statham has, along with most other remakes in the 21st Century.
