Sucks At Running

I was trying to enjoy this flick, but she just sucks so ridiculously bad at running. This was just piss poor direction in my opinion. When I'm watching a film and all I can think is, "Huh, the only reason she's not getting away is because she is purposely slowing down so that they can catch up" then you're doing a poor job directing.
The gal is supposed to be running for her life; make it look like she is. Some of this just seems to be pure laziness. In one scene, she slowly makes her way down the hill while the female killer skips her way down at least twice the pace that she was going. All that made me think is that that Wes didn't want to take the time to find a proper location or to film a scene that would of actually explained why the heck the killers were able to catch up with her.
It takes me completely out of the movie.
