Ada was the best character

I wish we got more of Ada. Preferably her being one of the heroes of the film.

They should've made a sequel or spinoff to this film called "Ada's Return." She was pretty old in this movie and it's now approaching 42-years-old so I would be surprised if Ada was still alive. That opportunity was wasted.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

I found her supremely annoying. The heavy-handed comic relief scene she has with the two cops seemed painfully out of place with the rest of the movie and should have been cut from the film.

She was SUPER annoying, but it was also her first acting job. She was actually the producer's parents' maid.

Flashback to 1989: I was having a pot party with some friends and Last House was the film we selected to watch high. I agonized about the humiliation of the girls saying such things as "the whole weight of the world has been placed on the back of these girls!" And then, like a thunderbolt, Ada Washington showed up with her chickens. Our entire party erupted into spontaneous and sustained laughter when she spoke the line (slightly paraphrased) "You got da law, but I got da chickens and da truck!". It was something of a relief after the torture scenes we'd just been watching.
