DVD? Anyone?
Does anyone have a decent copy of this on DVD that I could purchase? Not the crappy one that's been out there but, one perhaps from TCM? Widescreen? Anyone?...anyone?
Post and make my day!
"What's the rumpus?"

If anyone does, count me in too for buying a copy. The DVD out there now is easily the worst looking DVD transfer on the face of the Earth.

Wait a minute... who am I here?
I would love to find this on DVD as well. I'd even download it if someone gave me the link (I'm strongly opposed to downloading movies, but I believe this is public domain, and if it's not--the studio blew their chance to get my money by refusing to put out a decent DVD)
shareIt's playing this month in high def on the MGM HD Channel. Looks great. Original aspect ratio.
shareI have a couple of GORGEOUS, uncut, Widescreen copies of this amazing film on Region-Free NTSC DVD that I can spare if anyone has been seeking it.
As a bonus, there is also rare alternate and unused footage included after the feature (this stuff is silent, but beautifully shot).
Feel free to contact me directly for details. :)

shareI just got this through Amazon and it's gorgeous!
Widescreen, beautiful image and sound... Superior.
For all of us who have been waiting for this, the wait is over.
One note- this is the movie only and it does not have chapters. The Chapter jump button your remote will just jump ahead 10 minutes.
I am so happy that this finally got the right treatment, limited as it might be.
Are you serious? Is this from the Warner Archives Collection which they only press to order?
shareNo MGM. You can only order it through Amazon. I paid $20.00 and got it five days ago. Picture and sound are excellent. Well worth the extra money. But you need to understand there are no extras. You're just getting the movie, but if you're a movie buff than it's worth it.
shareYep. Worth the wait and every penny.
