Funny, but we really shouldn't be horsing around when it comes to offenders.
Woltz was not just a sexual predator, he was a kiddie fiddler as well. Losing the nag was bad, but it's too bad he didn't get his riding crop excised at some point in the story..

I only read it last year. I really liked the backstory of how the Don was able to get Michael back into the U.S., which the film completely omitted.

The novel explains it, but I have forgotten the details. It did involve union workers and paying off Woltz's staff as I recall.
