I love this movie.
BUT...the third bank robber (not McCoy, not Rudy) was a moron.

Yeah, he was an idiot. I think that's why Rudy killed him. I like Bo Hopkins. He was a good actor and very good in this.

Rudy planned to kill everyone and keep the money. Remember he was not Doc's choice, but was supplied by Benyon.
One thing I never understood was why didn't Carol McCoy warn Doc about Benyon?
Obviously she knew that Benyon was going to kill him. Which is why she shot him. Was it just for revenge for having to degrade herself with him? Perhaps, but I don't think that motive was explored enough.
Or was she planning all along to shoot Doc in the back, but had a change of heart at the last second?
