........this class-a crime melo-drama oozes kool and drips sensuality in spades. by far one of the top five 'pulp crime dramas' of the 70's......sort of like 'splatter noir'.

This movie was totally cool...actually, this movie redefined cool. I avoided it upon original release thinking I would not like it but after seeing it for the first time, I couldn't get enough of it and it is now part of my permanent collection.

With Sam Peckinpah, Steve McQueen, a 70s backdrop and a thrilling story about stealing vast amounts of cash and escaping to Mexico how could it not be cool?
