Or does the hotel shoot-out in this film reminds anyone (a little) of the the hotel scene in A BETTER TOMMOROW II (or vise versa)? Woo was obviously influenced by Peckinpah but I still couldn't help but notice.

And notice how the garbage compactor scene showed up again in Star Wars (1977) even to the point where a pipe is used as a prop.
