carol and doc walking out of the dump reminded me of that scene in quantum of solace when bond and camille are walking in the desert...
dust blowing around, dirty clothes, hair color matches, the mood....it all lines up. only difference is the getaway's scene was much shorter.

That's it, chopsuiiscool. I was trying to think of a current actor Steve McQueen reminds me of, Daniel Craig. I was thinking Paul Walker, but no. They have similar coloring but that's about it.

Great point, callum. I've seen many subtle and not-so-subtle references to McQueen in the Craig Bond movies. Somebody is steering this, and it just might be him.
