Can anyone tell me what band is playing the version used in the movie?

It may be, but I am not certain, Cole Porter's version (with Irving Aaronson). This version was also in "Bullets over Broadway." As I do not have the movies with me to compare what they sound like, I am unsure. I'm sorry if this doesn't help.

this is a way old post, but Ill give you the fruits of my labor in any case. I found this version by "Irving Aaronson & His Commanders" on an album called "Nippers Greatest hits of the '20s".
