The actors were all such good sports about everything
I mean, this was pretty risque for 1972. There had never been a movie like this before.
Think of all the stars playing it absolutely straight. Especially John Carradine. But there were a number of big stars, Anthony Quayle, Lynn Redgrave, Tony Randall, Gene Wilder - and that entire gameshow panel!
I would have thought they would have gotten a lot of flack for this back in the day.
I mean, not Burt Reynolds, because he's a total perv. But everyone else? Seems like it would hurt their careers. Didn't the religious right have anything to say about this movie back then?
