shareAlthough my post was an attempt at humor, hillbilly is an ethnicity. It's usually a reference to people that lived around the Appalachian Mountains and it's well known as the community/area where bluegrass and country music started. There is a long history of hillbilly life in the US. You can search the internet and find articles on it.
Ethnic celtic. Hillbillys and rednecks are ethnic celtic people. The urbanites in this movie were also ethnic celtic people. This movie was suppose shows people that rural celtic people and urban celtic people have the same psychology but are born under different circumstances.
