dvd out
Apparently uncut. I haven't seen this, any good?
To die is to live, to live is to die
It is indeed uncut and in widescreen (1.78:1 Anamorphic). The picture quality is pretty good, given its age of 34 years. A mono soundtrack and chapter menu is all you get though. My interest in the film was aroused after seeing the 2005 movie Creep. I was lucky enough to visit the set of CREEP and wish I had been around when ALDWYCH was active. (Aldwych is the station platform in DEATH LINE by the way - not Russell Square, as the film would have you believe. I have the DVD and despite paying a full £14.99 for it earlier this year, it was worth the money.
shareSo is the train station in the two films the same? I kept thinking they looked very similar, but maybe all train stations do? I've never been in one.
shareNo, the outside of the building is RUSSELL SQUARE but the interiors are of ALDWYCH. Sections of the 2005 horror movie CREEP were filmed at the now disused station of ALDWYCH, and if you look carefully between the two movies, you can see the same sections of platform which were used.
shareSo...it sounds like the answer is yes then. Because the interiors are the same, and the movies both take place inside the train station, so the interior is obviously what I was talking about....
So, yes then?
