For Heaven's sake I sure as hell hope so, THIS is the ONLY Thanksgiving cartoon that has survived the PC test of time, and if it weren't Charlie Brown it too would probably be history. A sad state of affairs it is, in November on TV there's nothing good on for Thanksgiving anymore, no Garfield's Thanksgiving, no The Thanksgiving that almost Wasn't, and definitely no Buttons and Rusty and the Turkey Gang. What's becoming of prime time television for holiday viewers?

It sucks. There's a SLEW of Thanksgiving-based fare (movies, cartoons, etc.) that could be shown, but no. The same old crap. "Die Hard" and "Derailed" on every damn channel (they're each good movies, but ENOUGH already). The Fox Family Channel kind of gets into the spirit of things (well, more at Christmastime) but even they have slacked off in recent years.
We need a new channel. The Holiday Nostalgia Channel or something where old holiday cartoons, specials and movies can be shown. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter ... there are so many forgotten favorites and specials they just don't air anymore.
"FRA-GEE-LAY. That must be Italian!" "I think that says 'fragile', honey."
YES, we sooooooooooo need a holiday channel. It would be sooo awesome. Winter movies, Spring Easter cartoons/movies.....I always say this. I'm with ya! Now, who do we contact, lol? Ted Turner? lol.
I'll give him 20 more minutes-and that's it!- Airplane!
Well it's Nov 2009 and so far I don't see any listings for it. I could have sworn it has always been on the Tues either the week of Thanksgiving or the week before. Anyone know if it's on this year?
