what happened to all the voice actors?

does anyone know where the voice actors are now?

They're still doing the new Charlie Brown specials I assume, like the one that followed this one last night, HE'S A BULLY, CHARLIE BROWN.

Actually - no. Peanuts uses child voice actors for its characters (most other animated productions use adults to voice child characters). The downside of this is that the actors outgrow their roles as their voices change and have to be replaced every few years. When the Thanksgiving special was made, the Peanuts cast had already turned over a few times from when the original Christmas special was made. Charlie Brown sounds quite a bit different in this one than he did in the Christmas one. Fortunately, Linus sounds pretty much the same since the actor (Stephen Shea) doing his voice for Thanksgiving is the real-life younger brother of the actor (Chris Shea) who originated the role.

I loved the scratchy voice that Marcie had in the 70s; they've never successfully replicated it since.

It's amazing how much alike Stephen and Eric Shea sound. I mean I know they're brothers, but I have twin sisters and their voices dont sound that much alike.

It's amazing how all three brothers sound alike. Chris and Stephen are the ones who did Linus. Eric never played Linus, though he would have been a good fit. But he appeared on lots of shows in the 60s and 70s, like "The Brady Bunch" and "Walt Disney".

Wasn't Eric also the one who had the recurring role on THE ODD COUPLE as Phillip, the odd kid who lived in Felix and Oscar's building. And of course, Eric also appeared in THE 1972 classic THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE.

I think James Earl Jones did Peppermint Patty's voice. It was quite deep.

Take it easy. We're not making a western here.

I knew that it was a boy's voice for Peppermint Patty it sounded a little too deep to be a girl's voice.

Robin Kohn, who voiced Lucy, graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a law degree in 1988. She lives in Mill Valley.

One of the most famous actors for these cartoons of course is Fergie(known for being a singer now), who played Sally in the 1980's
