Outdoor Filming Locations?

In the trivia section, it states that the inside shots were filmed in a no longer present soundstage and another scene was shot at a 'famous filmed fountain'. However, it does not state where they shot the city with brick buildings and cobblestone streets, the Adams' house, or the garden where the songs of Mr. Lee and Mrs. Jefferson are sung. I guess it is NOT a life, or death situation, but it would be interesting to know.

The best I was able to find was this from Wikipedia:

"Exteriors were filmed at the Warner Ranch in Burbank, California, the former Columbia Pictures backlot, where they built an entire street of colonial Philadelphia. Most of the colonial sets were destroyed by a fire in the mid-1970s."

THANK YOU!! I had not thought to check on Wikipedia! It is strange that those facts were not included here as well, since IMDb does access their information some times. I appreciate that you took the time to look it up. Have an incredible week ahead.

I have tried to include that info here on IMDB but they have such CUMBERSOME steps to put it in PLUS idiotic editors who doubt every word you send them...that I have NOT bothered many a time to add to this website.

The fountain and the tall buildings behind it are still standing and can be seen from the street as you pass the Warner Burbank studio on Hollywood Way. The fountain is in the center of a park that was part of the neighborhood in "Bewitched," "The Partridge Family," "Hazel," "Gidget," "Dennis The Menace," "Bye Bye Birdie" and tons of others.

The Adams farm and lake scenes were filmed at the Disney Ranch in Valencia.

The fountain at Lee sings around is the same one in the opening scenes of the TV show Friends.
