shareIf he stopped wearing them due to what Dr. Freedman said then he would be admitting that Freedman was right. He wanted to prove that he was crazy and wanted a section 8, not be labeled gay. By wearing the for the first 7+ season he succeeded in proving that he wasn't gay.
Also, the whole dress wearing was supposed to be a short term gag. However, the whole gag got such a great response that he kept wearing them.
