Scully

The Chuck Norris of the M*A*S*H universe. A man's man. I remember him being in three episodes. The first when he walked off the line and into our hearts at the butt-crack of dawn as Hawkeye was sitting down at Rosie's to a bowl of beer and Rice Krispies. "Snap, Crackle and Burp." I think this was my favorite Scully episode. I loved how just about everyone at the camp ended up at the bar as if they'd all gone AWOL.
Another episode showed him wounded and being taken to the 4077 for treatment. And yet another when he shows up with a bottle of wine to woo Houlihan for the weekend. He was kind of a dick to her that episode. Wish he would have showed up more often. I would have wanted him as my buddy on the line.

My favorite line from him was when the MP asked for his I.D. while he's dancing with Houlihan. "Sorry, I don't carry one. It just gets me in trouble." WTF?

What was your favorite Scully line or moment?

One time in post op where Scully was recovering from his injuries he wanted to spend some tender time with Margaret and Margaret told him that she had to tend to the other patients and he replied, "Let them get their own dates."

I like Scully because his attitudes and bearing actually seem to fit in the early 50's setting. Of course, I think at times they set that up just so they could knock it down, but he did feel real. You definitely bought him as a soldier.

I'd say my favorite moment is during the bar fight in "A Night at Rosie's" when he belts the guy fighting the MP who is there to arrest him, and the MP thanks him.
