Which would Hawkeye ask for as his Last Meal?
His Father's French Toast or Adams Ribs ribs?
shareHe's probably get all philosophical and highbrow with it as he did with his will when he was at the battalion aid station.
Something like: A glass of water to quench my thirst for freedom and a crumb of bread for my taste of life which I will miss and a jar of air to remind me of the sweet summer breeze back in Crabapple Cove.

If Pierce defected to North Korea there would be no last meal as the leader is the only one to eat. I suppose you could count the ammo from the anti-aircraft gun as food if it hit Pierce in the throat. Do the starving dogs get a chance at Pierce's fallen body?
shareA large lukewarm bowl of self pity (extra bland) and a big long glass of whine.
Sometimes a movie or tv show plot is so stupid that only the stupid can understand it.
The warden walks in: Dr. Pierce?
Hawk: Yes?
Warden: As per our tradition, the condemned man may have a choice of what he wants for his last meal....
Hawk: (Interrupting) A last meal? Oh boy. Well, I want something that reminds me of Maine. As well as something that I really missed when I was over in Korea.
Did I ever tell you about the time I served in the Army as a doctor during the Korean war?
Warden (Rolls his eyes, sighs heavily and sounding exasperated replies: Yes, you did. Many times.
Hawk: I did? Oh. Well, did I ever tell you about the time when I was over there and my jeep overturned, I hit my head and had to keep myself awake and I did this while hanging out with a Korean family who didn't speak any English but I managed to keep them entertained for many hours?
Warden: Yup. I've heard that one.
Hawk: OK. How about the time that I was out with the chief nurse lost in the countryside and we took shelter in an abandoned hut where we had terrific sex while shells exploded all around us?
Warden: Yeah, you told that one already.
Hawk: OK. Yeah. Um. Yeah. How about the one where....
Warden: Dr. Pierce, I am a very busy man and you should be instead thinking of what you want for your last meal...
Hawk: Oh yeah. That's right. Something I missed while in Korea and yet something that also reminds me of Maine. How about steak and lobster?
Warden: As I was about to say before you interrupted me, the only choices are liver or fish.

Adam's Ribs and when the ribs were delivered to his cell he'd realize he forgot to order the coleslaw.
