Caine- the ladies man!!

Caine is a priest of the shao-lin. I don't think he has to be celibate like catholic priests, but there was an episode where one of his former monks in training challenged Caine to a fight, beat him and then demanded he take love notes to some woman in the village. Whilst Caine objected, he still did it, being in this man's debt, until master Kahn caught him and threw the other man out of the temple. Seemed like he was banished for messing with women. But then, in a later ep, Caine was asked by some women if he was allowed to "fool around" and he told her something like He was taught to celebrate life in all its forms. He always got a woman or 2 in the first 2 seasons, but S3 is where he really cashes in. He must have had 5-6 babes. As I said, a real ladies man.

I would say that Chen Ye's actions resulted in his expulsion from the temple. True, it is stated in the series that the union between man and woman was honored as something sacred. However, this doesn't mean the students were allowed to engage in romance. Chen Ye not only was involved with a young lady against the wishes of his teachers, he concealed it from the Masters, and then he involved another student (Caine) though a personal duel, forcing him to deliver letters to his love.

These actions resulted in his being thrown out of the temple.
