During the flashback in the epside “The Third Man” why did Caines’s master allow the theief to steal what looks like a tray? Thanks.
share I think it has to do with Caine stopping him and taking it back instead of giving the thief the opportunity to return it himself. The look on Master Kan's face when Caine accused the thief was one of anger toward Caine.
When Caine confronted the man who took the money from under the barrel, he did not accuse him, he only alluded to that fact: therefore, giving him the chance to return the cash with no ramifications.
