why no female heart attack victims?

They would have been censored doing cpr on a female and ripping her shirt open to put on the ekg leads. Proceedure for defibrillation is to have the chest completely clear, including bra. I imagine men have a little higher risk of heart attack, but I've heard that women will come more near dieing from an attack than a male.

Lol, yeah, I asked that same question at one time, somewhere on this forum. At least, I mentioned that you almost never see a woman being shocked. Well, almost. One exception I can think of is a female student who collapsed on the 'playground' (it was actually pavement), and it was learned that the girl had taken some drugs. Anyway, there might have been another instance of the guys having to 'zap' a woman, but off the top of my head, I don't recall.

(There is also the infamous case of the OD woman at Rampart, who was briefly nekkid--from the waist up, at least--when the doctors counter-shocked; sadly, the effort was ineffective and she subsequently died. )

I haven't been watching this show much lately, but have the opportunity today, and I'm watching the one MeTV is airing, Involvement. It's the one with Millie, the retired nurse from Rampart who tried to commit suicide. When she's in Emergency, she goes into V-fib, and they have to use the paddles to shock her. But they don't actually show it. We see the doctors with the paddles, and then Dixie's standing at Millie's feet as her legs jump with the shock, but we don't see the actual thing... probably because IRL they would have ripped open her robe and nightgown to put the paddles directly onto her skin. And they couldn't show us that.  When that paddles don't work, Roy we see Roy hop on a stool or something to perform chest compressions, and the doctors administer some drugs, but again, we don't see Millie, we just see the others--from the chest up--doing their jobs. 

Watching on netflix and there is in season 1 episode dilemma a female cardiac victim.

Who was the elderly female brought in to ER by her daughter (who wound up having a heart attack while waiting for Mom to be treated)? No idea on episode or season....Just remember the old lady was more worried about getting home to supper.

There was one female car crash victim late in the series they did zap and unfortunately it was unsuccessful.
