This movie is magical
And Wilder is perfect as the mysterious Wonka . The chocolate factory is perfect and so is the out of place but creepy tunnel scene . There are nice messages throughout and the ending is perfect .
There’s something about many of these 70s movies that just cannot be recaptured. They have immense charm and give me a joy that I don’t feel watching modern movies
Any modern movies give you the same feeling as this movie? Do you have any complaints about this flick? How close does it represent the book? I’ve heard the book is much darker but I haven’t read it so can’t comment
