Don’t Understand Willard. He Didn’t Make Sense.

He must have been REALLY stupid or something because the things that he does & says & the direction that he takes once things seem to look up for him just don’t jibe if you think about it.

First off he’s a loner who finds he can connect to rodents. Then regarding said rodents he finds that he can command them to kill his enemies & the people tormenting him, making his life a living hell.

Ok great, then what does he do? He decides to double cross his rat buddies by bailing out on them when he gets them to kill his boss. Yeah Ben was miffed at being left behind but more importantly he probably knew the jig was up & that this guy was on his way to doing something really stupid which he did.

You had these rats as your family, they’ve proven themselves to be useful tools that you can use to do your dirty work for. You know how dangerous they are & for no reason at all you decide to ditch them & you decide that you’re going to kill them, ALL of them! That you’re going to go up against their leader.

What? Makes no sense to me. Ungrateful bitch should’ve known his ass was grass. Did he think he was going to prevail swinging wildly at them? To me it made no sense that he went ahead & decided to do that but that’s the movies for ya.

I think Willard wasn't all that bright, actually. Stupid people will sometimes do stupid things. Heck, even smarter people who should know better will do stupid things.

I think he turned on the rats because he realized that he might not be able to control them like he thought he could and they would go further than he wanted. Also, his conscious was bothering him.
