new movie on the filming of this historic classic

Mario Van Peebles, who is in this wonderful historic film as the 13 year old boy at the start of the film, has just released a movie about the making of this movie, and in it, he himself stars as his father, Melvin Van Peebles, the director of this fine film. Everyone who loves this film should also see the new one, which is just called Badasss

I can hardly wait to see the new film. i thought the original was very special. I was disappointed by the negative comments on this board, though. Guess these film experts don't realize that you can't compare something made with a handfull of dollars and two weeks to shoot with a blank check Spielberg flic. And it has Asians in it, too, which is more than I can say for most of Steven's stuff.
