Ive looked all over most DVD sites such as Amazon etc and all they have is movie posters of sweetback but i want the actual film. anybody got any ideas where i can get a copy? help would be much appreciated!

Just re-released in the UK (it's a BFI release and they always use the best available prints), though you've probably got the USA edition by now...

shareIgnore my previous posting on this thread. The UK DVD is censored for sexualized child nudity (which is odd as our 1998 VHS edition is not).

The director told the BBFC that it wasn't really his son and was an actor over 18; the bbfc bought that in 1998 but not for the DVD version.
