A lot of people criticize the low budgetness of it but I really think it added to the overall bizarre atmosphere
Plus this movie was saved by 3 performances: The cool guy who runs the brothel, that weird black preacher and the crazy dope addicted stripper.

I thought soo too,but the chase scenes dragged
but the first 2 were soo hypnotic,I liked it

My favorite chase scene is I think after the biker gang part and then they have that song that's like "RUN, FEET, RUN!!!"

favourite lol-stupid line is at the end when 2 guys are following Sweetback with the dogs. "He's heading for the border!" (oh really) "He's gonna get there before we do!" (that's a spoiler!)
