Lot's of people on the old board always wondered why the maniac killed the family. I always thought that aside from the fact that he seemed to be into violence, he took great store in those boots of his. They got splashed in the beginning of the film.

This is a fantastic film and one that more people should see. It gives off a "Duel" vibe with those boots that the killer wears.

sharePossibly. He has a low tolerance for people as is shown when he smashes the glass at the bar after the bartender stopped him from putting his feet up.
