Which DVD edition is the best one to buy?

As of now, 2009, which dvd is the best edition to buy? with best sound, video and extras? to my knowledge there are 3 versions out there. twitch of the death nerve by image, bay of blood by simitar, and the mario bava boxset by anchor bay. i'd prefer to buy just the one movie as a single disc, but if the image and simitar editions both suck then i'll get the box set, if its the only good quality version out there... thanks!!

Possibly the best site around for judging which dvd release you can get is http://www.dvdcompare.net/ though it`s a bit slow on updating old forgotten re-release material.
DVD Beaver is great too but pretty limited in the quantity of genre reviews http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film2/DVDReviews37/bay_of_blood.htm
