Why was there an Opel GT & a Mustang in the same showroom?

It was a used car dealership. Hey, that's all I can think of.

Usually only special used cars are in a showroom. Antiques, Indy 500 pace car editions, etc...

In the final days of the pandemic several car dealerships combined their products. After all they were short of manpower and didn't need all those big showrooms anymore so why not throw in together? Keep calm and keep shopping. Remember the corpse of the dead saleman still sitting at the desk? He was the Last Salesman. A true Company Man.

I believe the guy who sold me my car wouldn't have been as noble as that corpse. As a fatter of mact, he's hit the ground running.

I remember when my brothers and I first watched this on NBC ~1976 we said, "Why didn't he take the Corvette?!" Never heard of Opal until years later, but then again, I was only six at the time.
