shareOkay, gang. Here's the scoop: ordered my set Tuesday, arrived Friday. Nice, quick delivery. However, to my chagrin, the DVDs are bootleg. Yes, I feel smarmy. But, they're pretty good quality, have the air dates on them, and someone took some time in the packaging. Maybe I should have kept taping them off of the Sci-Fi Channel. But, like I said, it's neat to have them all together in a neat package.
As said B4, HIGHLY ILLEGAL, However, For the VERY LOW, LOW, price of 20.00 on IOFFER.COM, (type in KOLCHAK) you can own a very nice set on dvd. I bought one, From the seller, (used Paypal, so your purchase is guaranteed,) arrived in a week, and the copies are wonderful. They are dubbed from Sci-Fi, but Commercials are edited, and Hey, it's 20.00!

I found Kolchak: The Night Stalker DVD series at Best Buy. I found The Night Stalker/Night Strangler on Amazon.com. Both were pretty reasonably priced too!

They are indeed. I'm glad I bought my double-feature disc when I did new and for relative cheap!
If you don't mind youtube (there are, after all, ways as they say to home-brew things provided the quality is decent) there are currently 2 different complete versions of The Night Stalker posted there, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dcd-U70SYgI and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5UpA2_F_EY
The volume might need to be raised a bit, but otherwise the overall quality is quite good. Interestingly, the longer of these two versions actually includes what appears to be the original "Movie Of The Week" lead-in from 1972.
A very good quality version of The Night Strangler (possibly a dvd rip, the clue being the presence of the MGM lion before the film starts) is similarly posted at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9S36LHw8I4
