le mans REDUX

this film has it all! EXCEPT editing and a script,i think that if more dialogue and faster pace editing was placed in,this movie would have it all!lets be honest where was the drivers conflict with each other, also what about mcqueens guilt with last years crash, what about the gulf team boss concern for mcqueen frame of mind going into the race and what about the love hate relationship with the dead drivers wife and the deaceased, all these areas could have been explored within the movie,if that had happended it could have been been mcqueens greatest movie, the race footage is amazing, this is a good movie but i everytime i watch it i just feel it could of been AMAZING,what do you you think?

I think you may have missed the point of the movie. If you want drama or a love story watch something like Titanic.

Every time I watch this movie I enjoy the fact that there is very little script. The first half hour or so without any dialogue is brilliant in my opinion.

A true racer would not have any outside concerns during the race that he was currently involved in. I think this is portrayed very well in this movie.

yeah i agree to a point, but as a film its lack of script does hinder it to the sucess that mcqueen envisioned for the film, and also a wider audience

What I learned from Grand Prix, F1 can be exciting!
What I learned from this film, Le Mans is boring.

A truly pretentious piece of crap. I like McQueen but the only direction he received for this movie is "look quizzical".
